PLAY IN A DAY
A creative marathon where four writers, four directors and eight actors have a combined 24hours to write, rehearse and stage original 10-minute plays. (What could go wrong?!)
This whirlwind showcase brings together artists across many creative communities for an energetic and madcap evening of entertainment!
As of May 2026, Play In A Day has created 13 projects and for 47 opportunities artists.
Various projects have successfully pursued development and production opportunities beyond their Play In A Day event, include the Antipodes Winter Lab.

We will continue to accept EOls till Wednesday September 23th, (the day of the first session) to allow for last minute drop-outs.
Tickets sales will be put towards covering operation costs which includes: the hire fees for the four separate spaces needed to rehearse the plays, prop sourcing and dinner for all participants on the performance day. All Team Members, Facilitators, the Operator and Event Photographer are all providing their services voluntarily.
