Antipodes Theatre Companys presents a development Presentation Of

ARE YOU BETTER YET?

by Sarah-Jayde Tracey

Thursday December 15 2022, 4pm

Siteworks - Work Room 6, Brunswick

Get more rest. Drink more water. It's all in your head. Are you better yet?

Sarah-Jayde Tracey, a neurodivergent and chronically ill actor, explores the labour of chronic illness, disability, medical gaslighting and the impacts of unsolicited advice in an experimental live durational performance. As she tries every unsolicited, unhelpful, and often ridiculous piece of advice in real time, the audience gets to gain a glimpse into what it is like to navigate a world not set up for her.

This project was previously developed as part of Antipodes Theatre Company's 2021 Winter Lab
